Youre sure not the first to find these “transformation” stories a cheap thrill. My only issue is/was that the stories that used some kind of “magical”(or forced) approached, never worked for me. Too much of a, geek I guess. There was one called, DNA Virus(extensive mulitchapter series), its on one of of the story archive sites. I first read it 20 yrs ago and it really lit a fire in me,,. :)
