Speaking as an older, right -of-center Trans person, I cant not believe WHY we are making this issue, our "hill to die on",. Especially when it effect so few Trans kids. The "great awakening" of kids being aware of their identities at much earlier ages has its good and bad sides. 50 years a go, I knew nothing about who I was, except the Boys locker room and showers was NOT the right place for me to be in,,. This is also a complex issue, and their needs to be more research. One issue I see is that the activists on BOTH sides have an ax to grind that colors much of he information thats available,. Prior to puberty, theres little to no difference between boys and girls athletic performance. And the great irony here is that the folks who are against Trans kids in sports are also the same crowd that is against use of puberty blockers and early HRT,. Which also BTW needs far more study in the risks they present.
