Oh come on, thats one of my favorite movies. I think what it does show is that love does NOT always work out the way(s) we would hope it might. But that there will always be those who try in many different ways, to find a way. That scene w/ the kid running through the airport? Ehh, small potatoes, compared w/ some of the schemes that I imagined doing when I was that same age, half a century ago. One of my other movie favs, though not tagged as a Romance, is Forest Gump; Heres a guy who is totally dedicated to this one girl his whole life, and the only time that she wants anything to do w/ him is when shes sick or needs a place to hang for awhile,. He should be given the, Schmuck of the year the award, but he still loves her,. BTW, that part in the first movie w/ the rock star and his manager, totally threw me. Never saw THAT coming :)
