Its my honest opinion that if a person who is AMAB(assigned male at birth) wishes to publicly declare themselves to be Trans, you need to have SOME level of "skin in the game". Im also aware that coming to terms w/ recognizing who you are can be a long process of personal growth. There may be years where you exist in an awkward androgony. And for some that identify as, Gender Fluid or Nonbinary, thats their sweet spot. It took me years to realize that I had far more going on than simply being a cross desser. Five years ago I took a leap of faith and began HRT, and a year later came out publicly when I had my name legally changed.
