Im not denying that "chasers" exsist, but at the same time quite often, we seem to frequently create many our own barriers to being fully accepted,,. And similarly, if a Cis/Het guy's friends find out he has been w/ a Trans woman, theres a whole raft of homophobic crap he is likely to have dumped on him :( It takes a very special kind of guy to want to be w/ a Trans woman, and not be concerned w/ what others might say/think. And FWIW,,, I feel that I have a certain kind of "cache'" that distingusishes me from many Cis women ;) . During my 60 plus years of life, Ive seen greater acceptance to the point where its hardly an issue any more, of "mixed marriages " between couples of differet religions, and races/ethnicities. And while there can still be some uneasiness there from (older?)friends and family members, its not nearly the same way that it was 40 - 50 years ago :)
