I wonder how some of these dynamics work for those of us in the Transgender community; Do Trans guys get anything out of Gay porn? For myself, Gay porn typically seemed to have a more authentic/erotic quality. One of the things that helped me come to terms w/ my own identiy, was that in watching Straight, or Lesbian porn, however bad the production, I always identified w/ the women in these and wanted to epxerence the same things they were feeling. Now as a Bi/Straight female, Gay porn helps feed my desire to be w/ a guy, as woman.
