I too have seen this take place a number of times. I have a close friend who transitioned over 35 years ago, and she has told me that she hardly can recall many of the things she experienced before her transition. Its only recently through some of the questions I ask her that has brought some of those memories back to light. Except for certain mile stone moments like when I had my Orchie, or attended my first major Trans conference(First Event), some of my own memories have started to fade . A few for good reason, such as the struggles I faced as a Teen. Your story of going back in time to speak to your younger self crystalized that period of my life. Your story(The Tingles) illustrated the effects I was feeling from being on HRT. Your story(Out Of Body Sex) described perfectly how I experienced intimacy(pre HRT) with another.
