I think that we have seen this same movie a few years ago when NC passed one of the first "bathroom bills". There was at least one incident where a Cis woman was pulled out of a bathroom, when she was suspected of being a Male,.. How well did that go?? The GOP has long had trouble explaining "icky stuff" as was the case for womens birth control,,. We need to step things up a notch or two and show them that we are the adults in the room. But that also will include accepting that certain (uncomfortable)facts like, sex(XX/XY) doesn NOT change w/ transitioning. As I sometimes try to explain it; Sex is whats between your legs, its how you contribute to human reproduction. Do you inseminate or do you gestate, pick ONE, there are very few exceptions. Gender is whats between your ears, same as sexual orientation. Yeah thats a BIG concept for some to wrap their heads around. Try to be patient, they know not what they do,. :)
