I started HRT over five years ago under informed consent. I will say that it was quite easy, but make no mistake, I was closely supervised too. My general plan at the time was as I sometimes say, was to "dip my toes in the water" and see how it makes me feel. If I didnt like it, Id simply stop. Well as it turned out, I LOVED what it did for me. There were some moments of angst as my male sexual function dwindled. But I soon realized that I was merely trading my male sexuality for a female version. which fits me perfectly,. Four years ago when I knew that I never wanted to go back to the "old" me, I had an Orchiecdomy. This was a boost both aesthetically, and also that I didnt want to be on, Spiro long term. Ive continued my largely self guided, "slow boat to vagina", journey and Im currently getting everything in place for "the big one", later this year I hope. The other day I mentioned to a friend, that people who think the process of gender transition is something akin ordering takeout, they are simply DELUSIONAL. You have to seriously WANT it in order to go through all the steps that it takes to get there.
