I have frequently said that most of the issues we face currently that are attributed to race are actually about class. Trying to frame it as Black vs White is merely a convenient means of trying to "color coding" it in order to distract from the actual issues. Saying there is any "systematic racism" today is completely bogus. The very same issues of oppression that are faced by Blacks are also faced by poor Whites as well.
