I agree that more study in this area of HRT is needed, however beyond that I simply call BS on the idea of Trans women experiencing PMS/period symptoms. Ive heard some theories about how this MIGHT occur such as pheremone syncing, or influences from the Adrenal gland. Otherwise Im not buying it,. I will also add that like yourself, when I switched over from patches to injections for my E. I was initially on a biweekly schedule. And during that time I often felt a bit of a "crash" at the middle of that cycle. Estrogen injected IM, apparently takes around 4-5 days for most of it to be absorbed into your body.. So when I went to weekly injections at half the initial amount, that smoothed everything out nicely. Considering how much we are struggling for acceptance, both socially AND in the workplace, why do we want to equate ourselves with certain Cis women who are debilitated each month,,.
