https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KhxebAzzdxA Are you familar w/ this one? Its about a real person(musician, Bill Amesbury) who transitioned over 30 years ago. I love it :) I have often used music as a metaphor or conduit to understand how I feel about something currently going on in mylife or from times past. I recall 40 years ago when Barbra Strieshand's, Woman In Love came out, I instantly liked it, but had no idea as to why. And as a guy at that time, I wasnt about to share that w/ anyone. Another oldie that I now like is, "If I Could Reach You", by The Fifth Demention. One of the lines illustrates the often problematic relationships that we have w/ Cis folks: "I know that you know, other girls(Gurls?) like me. I let you take my love, knowing that you dont love me". And at the risk of sounding narcasistic, particular songs about longing for a past love, can be turned inward to express longing for the woman that resides within us.
