Emma, My heart goes out to Trans kids everywhere. Puberty can be a very trying time even for the most well adjusted kids. And far worse for those w/ Gender Dysphoria. I recall my own experiences all too well. All that said, I am VERY leery of the use of puberty blockers. One point that an older Trans friend of mine recently made to me recently was, if a kid isnt allowed to develop normally. How will they have adequately developed genitalia that can be used for SRS? Ive heard noted by Trans activists that a benefit of blockers is so that a Trans kid wont have to deal w/ certain effects of (male)puberty, such as a deep voice, body hair, or height. To me that smells of using blockers for entirely "cosmetic" reasons. Mind you, I fully understand the intent there,. That all said, those on the Right, dont seem to realize that blockers have been used increasingly for preventing "precocious puberty" for well over 20 years. Although I suspect that has been mostly an issue for young girls. Im basically highly suspicious of anything where "big pharma" provides the solution for.
